Open clusters & abundance trends in the Galactic disc
Abstract:
I will present the results of our investigation of the trends of [Fe/H] with Galactocentric radius, age, and height above the plane in the Galactic disc using open clusters. For this purpose we have used a compilation of chemical abundances derived from high-resolution spectroscopy and available in the literature. This sample have been complemented with measurements in 9 systems derived by our group. Morover, I will present our project of deriving chemical abundances of northern open clusters older than 0.5 Gyr using the facilities in the Spanish observatories. This project has been designed to complement the Gaia-ESO Survey by observing clusters not reached from Paranal.
