Welcome to my home page! I am an Italian astronomer, working at the Observatory of Bologna (Italy), in the research groups Galaxies, Surveys and Observational Cosmology and Galaxy Clusters and Large Scale Structure, and chercheur associé at the Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur, in the Equipe de Cosmologie et Astrophysique Extragalactique, Laboratoire Cassiopée. My main research fields are observational cosmology, the large scale structure of the universe and clusters of galaxies. I am also interested in Ancient Greek science and the history of cosmology.
