Optical range is much more informative for  communication between cosmic 
civilizations by the side of radio one. Special hardware and software were 
developed in the Special Astrophysical Observatory, in order to  search for 
extraterrestral artifical signals, in the frame of MANIA 
programme to study astronomical objects with high time resolution.
Parameters of two generations of equipments are discussed. In particular,
new kind of panoramic detector of high time resolution are described.
Results of search for optical signals from habitable area and beacons of
ETI are demonstrated. New strategy of search for signals in wide fields 
are discussed. Some demografic projections for our civilization are 
analysed as possible way for any cosmic civilizations.
