Recent observations obtained with Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS) have
increased the number of debris disks resolved in scattered light. These
observations reveal a range of disk morphologies, many of which  suggest the
presence of recently formed, or forming, planetary systems. We will  discuss
these observations in the context of planetary system formation and highlight 
the future opportunity for progress in this field presented by JWST.
