The Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe has provided us with unprecedented quantitative information that has helped to establish the current concordance cosmology. It has also revealed a number of features that we do not understand so well, prompting suggestions of departures from the standard framework. In this talk I will review a few of these interesting anomalies and suggest the most conservative assumption - that they are due to residual foreground contamination - is the most likely explanation.
