From the first stages of star and galaxy formation, non-gravitational
processes lead to the enrichment of the IGM in stars, metals as well as
dust. These processes shape together with gravitation the formation and
the evolution of structures. I will discuss the effect of dust at the
scale of galaxy clusters, and present observational and theoretical
evidences of its presence and its effect within these structures.
