For 3 years, the Galaxy Evolution Explorer Satellite (GALEX) has been undertaking a survey of the sky in two UV channels, at 1500 and 2300A. GALEX his discovered extended ultraviolet disks, ultraviolet luminous galaxies that are analagous to Lyman-Break galaxies, and detected UV emission in a wide range of star forming environments. I will present a number of the results of the GALEX studies, including a new separation of the blue and red sequences in galaxies in the Local Universe.
