Since its launch in 2008, the Fermi gamma-ray satellite has greatly contributed to the discovery of misaligned AGN (MAGN), i.e. radio galaxies and quasars with the jet not directly pointing towards the observer. I will review the GeV properties of MAGN and discuss the important contribution that high energy observations have provided in the comprehension of jet structures and physical processes at work in relativistic plasma.
