Modified gravities are a less-explored explanation to the dark matter phenomena in galaxies and large scale. Modified Newtonian Dynamics, for example, which is traditionally very successful with galaxy rotation curves, has recently acquired a relativistic version which prescribes light bending and cosmology fairly well. I will be discussing some detailed tests using data on galaxy rotation curves, globular cluster tidal radii, and gravitational lensed quasars, and supernovae distances, and evaluate the merits and problems of the modified gravity approach.
