The aim of the workshop is to bring together the italian members of the WFXT collaboration
and the italian astrophysics community to discuss scientific aspects related to WFXT.
The format will be based on informal talks of about 20 minutes spanning a wide range
of topics: X-ray surveys of clusters and cosmology, surveys of AGN, physics of the intra-cluster
medium and of AGN, non-active galaxies, stars and compact objects, synergies with planned
and future surveys and telescopes. A significant fraction of time will be left open for
informal discussion.
