New programs released

The cdfs-extract programme to extract spectra and aperture photometry
from multiple sources in multiple XMM-Newton observations, has just
been released. See the web page:

Paper VI acceped

Paper VI (IR-selected obscured AGN) has been accepted for publication in A&A.

Title: The XMM deep survey in the CDF-S. V. Obscured AGN selected as infrared power-law galaxies

Authors: N. Castelló-Mor, F.J. Carrera, A. Alonso-Herrero, S. Mateos, X. Barcons, P. Ranalli, P.G. Péres-González, A. Comastri, C. Vignali, I. Georgantopoulos

Location change of the XMM-CDFS simulator

The web location of the XMM-CDFS simulator has been changed due to a temporal server problem. The link to the simulator in the Archive page has been updated to a new location.

Source lists with finding charts available

The XMM-CDFS source lists with finding charts are now available at the IFCA (Universidad de Cantabria) website. The links to the source lists (in the 2-10 keV and 5-10 keV bands, separately) and the column captions can be found in our Archive page (items 3.1 & 3.2).

The original First XMM-CDFS Source Catalogues have been updated with new redshifts for some sources. The updated version is also available for download in the
Archive page.
